Delete Your Account & Data

If you wish to delete your Heard About This? account and all associated data, please follow the steps below. This process is in accordance with our privacy policy and Google Play requirements.

How to Request Deletion

1. Email us at support@heardaboutthis.com from the email address associated with your account.
2. Use the subject line: Delete My Account
3. In your message, include your full name and (if possible) your user ID or the email used to register.
4. Our support team will confirm your request and process the deletion within 21 days.

What Data Is Deleted?

• Your account information (name, email, user ID)
• Your saved TV shows and movies
• Any notes or metadata you added
• All sync and device data

What Data Is Retained?

• Support correspondence (for legal/audit purposes, retained for up to 90 days)
• Aggregated, non-personal analytics (cannot be linked to you)

Retention Period

All personal data is deleted within 21 days of your request. Support emails are retained for up to 90 days for compliance, then permanently deleted.
